Beginners to the hobby are encouraged, and flying instruction is available from volunteer club instructors, using the BMFA "Up and Away" scheme and "Buddy Box" dual controls.

The club fly at our summer field located near Mertsham Junction 8 on M25 and at Downside Cobham in the winter months The club also has a monthly club evening. During the winter, the meetings are generally held on the 2nd Monday in the Month at Bookham United Reformed Church. where we also fly small indoor models.
