The Esher & District MFC meets every 2nd Wednesday in the month in the
summer at NESCOT club house in East Ewell as shown here:

During the winter, the meetings are generally 2nd Monday in the Month at Bookham United Reformed Church.
Meetings start at 7:30pm. If you park as shown and enter the building by the entrance at left front and then turn right as you go through the entrance the club room is straight ahead (although on summer evenings you will probably find most of the club out on the sports field flying.)
There is an excellent bar at NESCOT :-).
At some meetings, especially during the winter, activities are organised. An average year includes an auction, several instruction evenings, TV videos of model events, talks by guest speakers, chuck glider building competition, etc.
The remaining evenings are spent having a "general natter" and members are encouraged to bring along models they are building to "show off" or to discuss problems of construction, finishing, engine or radio installation etc. and to gain the benefit of other members’ experience.
During the summer, providing this does not interfere with any organised sport on the site, proficient members may fly gliders or electric aircraft until dusk (or somewhat beyond if it has got lights on - there are some wonderfully bright LED's available now!)
If you are interested in, or considering taking part in, this challenging hobby, come along to one of our club meetings and see what goes on. Make yourself known to any of our members and you will be made welcome.
Alternately contact our membership secretary, Tony Fuller
